Christine from California wants to know: I have a 3 1/2 year old 1550 gate opener. It works perfectly. My problem is the wireless remote entry pad. I am on the second one and it too has failed. The battery has been changed and it still does not work. It is a Digi Code brand and the first one was as well. Is there a wireless entry pad that can be outside that you recommend that will work with my 1550 and will last? Thanks for your help.
Answer: I wanted to get back to you as quickly as possible. Any wireless keypad will work with your system as long as you have the matching receiver however since you have an Apollo gate operator I would recommend the APL- 951N wireless keypad. This is a weatherproof, vandal proof outdoors keypad and does not require you to purchase a separate receiver. Have questions regarding our products?
