SDC Security Door Controls is a recognized company that manufactured the first electric locks approved for stairwell doors. The company creates premium-grade cylindrical locks and electrified mortise. Products like the SDC HiTower, Electra, and Selectric are currently at work in thousands of buildings worldwide. 

The company markets and creates mechanical door locks, access controls, exit devices, security systems, and locking devices on a global scale. 

Founded in 1972 by Arthur V. Geringer, D.A.H.C., this company had a solid start. Through his father’s architectural hardware business, Geringer became well-acquainted with the needs of the industry from the age of four. His background, knowledge, and work lead him to develop devices to keep places safe. Eventually, the company was born. 

SDC’s security devices include:
