Hey techies, we all know that LiftMaster is revamping their products and adding a few changes to some of their more prolific and popular ones… so we figured we would go over a few of them in the following days to help understand what is happening and we can make this transition as painless and easy as we can.

So how do you feel about starting with the popular LA400DC swing gate actuator system? The most obvious and notable change is the operator itself which now comes in a smoke gray and has very distinct Burgundy colored section running the length of the operator, this UL/cUL Listed baby now has available MyQ technology with all of its options, things like the internet gateway (828LM) with available email or text ‘ALERTS’ sent to your mobile device, gate and garage door monitoring (829LM), lighting control (823LM) and the new more secure LiftMaster Security + 2.0 receiver. A built in battery back-up that provides the user with up to 400 cycles or up to 97 days of standby power when electricity is out.

And now this powerful and agile little operator will open gates that measure up to 16 in length and weigh up to a hearty 850 pounds and with the available push to open brackets (P/N 50-19503) you can accommodate those difficult clients that want their gates to open out towards the street. You can now add a lock/latch as well to secure your gate when it is in the closed position (P/N: SGLOCK12V) using the programmable auxiliary relays that have been added to the new main control board.

So if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and ask any question or better yet come on down and get familiarized with these by doing a little hands on playing around with one of these cool new operators. Have questions regarding our products?
