Andrew in Florida would like to know: I purchased the LiftMaster 893MAX 3-Button Visor Remote Control. I live in a condo with a large commercial garage door. We have a LiftMaster 362LM remote. Can I program the new remote from the 362LM? If so how?
Answer: Good morning Andy, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the 893MAX although usable across the spectrum of LiftMaster receivers, it is not trainable to learn from another transmitter, the only remote that I have at this time from LiftMaster with a “learn” feature is the 894LT, which will pick up any frequency post 1996 and some dip switch settings. That is in stock and readily available for $29.50 + shipping.
