The DoorCom® wireless intercom helps maintain security protocols while increasing worker efficiency. DoorCom long-range wireless technology provides a means for visitors or employees to communicate from the outside of a locked door to radio-equipped staff inside the facility. Workers can stay focused and productive until they receive the call with a unique call tone. Wasted time is reduced while deliveries and pick-ups are handled more quickly.

The radio transceiver has a range of approximately 350,000 square feet (the actual range depends on building structure and topography). DoorCom® is ideal for installation at delivery or receiving doors, employee entrance, lobby area, will-call/pick-up, loading dock, even on the factory floor.

DoorCom is compatible with virtually any other analog, VHF, or UHF business band 2-way radio. Models are available with the VHF MURS License-Free business use only frequencies, the licensed-required VHF, 150-165MHz and UHF, 450-470MHz business frequency bands.

• Approximate range: 350,000 sq. ft. The additional range can be achieved with the optional remote mount antenna (RAM-1545), or in some cases, by adding a Ritron UHF Liberty Repeater.
• Unique 2-piece system - One 20 ft. long cable connects rugged RDC-1 (outdoor or indoor use) remote-head to the R-Series radio transceiver (indoor use only). The transceiver is powered by included RPS-1B 110VAC -12VDC adaptor.
• The transceiver can be field-programmed to a pre-set list of table frequencies or can be PC programmed with Ritron software to be compatible with virtually any other VHF or UHF 2-way radio system, even radio repeaters.
• Flexible Multi-Mode Operation in R-Series Transceiver- Callbox Mode: Prevents eavesdropping on the speaker. The speaker turns OFF after a period of inactivity. Always-On Mode: Radio system traffic is always heard on the RDC-1 speaker. Ideal for warehouse and factory floor applications
• High Performance - Narrowband analog wireless technology delivers superior signal penetration and radio coverage in and around buildings. Provides reliable 2-way voice communication in demanding applications when you need it. PC Programmable to "custom" frequencies or radio repeaters with Ritron software.
• Alerting Tone- A unique call tone is sent each time a new call is initiated from DoorCom. The alert tone differentiates a "DoorCom" call from any other 2-way radio call.

Note

• The DoorCom system consists of 1 radio transceiver and 1 heavy-duty remote speaker/microphone. At least one additional companion 2-way radio (not included) is required to have a basic working system. Ritron offers a variety of compatible portable 2-way radios and desk-top base station radios.
