SlideSmart DC and SlideSmart HD keep your gate moving even after AC power loss. This commercial-grade, continuous-duty, electromechanical, chain-driven slide gate operator is designed for millions of low-maintenance cycles.
Heavy-duty HD15F cycles up to 1,500 lb/50 ft gate (1,134 kg/15 m). Open/Close speed set independently, choose 1.75, 2 or 2.25 ft/s (53, 61 or 69 cm/s)* Robust zinc-rich primer and black powder-coated steel chassis and cover. Pad or post mount. Optional 1HP motor.

High-Speed Commercial Slide Gate Operator with UPS Battery Backup
The HySecurity SlideSmart HD15F is a continuous-duty, chain-driven slide gate operator built for commercial and industrial applications requiring faster cycle times. The "F" in HD15F stands for Fast — this operator cycles at 1.75 to 2.25 ft/s, roughly double the speed of standard SlideSmart DC models (0.75–1.25 ft/s), making it ideal for high-traffic commercial entrances, warehouses, and industrial facilities where gate throughput matters.
The included UPS battery backup keeps your gate operational after AC power loss, with standard 8Ah batteries providing up to 4,000 ft of gate travel. Upgrade to 50Ah batteries for up to 25,000 ft of travel on battery alone. The system is field-configurable to fail open or fail secure when batteries deplete. For standard-speed applications at the same gate capacity, the HySecurity SlideSmart DC 15 operates at 0.75–1.25 ft/s at a lower price point. For heavier gates up to 2,500 lbs, step up to the SlideSmart HD25, or the SlideSmart HD30 for gates up to 3,000 lbs.

The Smart DC Controller provides 70+ user-configurable settings via a 32-character LCD display and 5 tact buttons, or through a PC using HySecurity's S.T.A.R.T. software over USB, RS-232, or RS-485. The onboard event log simplifies troubleshooting by recording system activity and faults. Two configurable user relays (30VDC solid state + 250VAC electromechanical) handle access control and safety outputs, with the optional Hy8Relay™ adding 8 more relay outputs for complex installations.
The operator ships with 30 ft of #40 corrosion-resistant roller chain, two steel gate mounting brackets, one EMX IRB-MON photo eye, and one 5-foot ASO edge sensor with pre-wired Hy2NC adapter. ETL Listed for UL 325 Class III and IV (Commercial and Industrial) only. For solar-powered sites without AC, the SlideSmart DCS 15 Solar uses integrated MPPT solar charging.
