This compact high-capacity modular safe stores rifles, handguns, and more, with pre-drilled holes and mounting hardware for easy setup. TOUGH and RUGGED 14-gauge carbon steel construction uses Vaultek’s exclusive metal forming technique and features a durable finish to prevent corrosion and ensure long-lasting protection.

Plug-In Required: This safe is powered by the AC power adapter and needs to be plugged in continuously for normal function.
Backup Battery Required: This safe has
backup power via four AA batteries (not included), and it needs them for normal function. In the event of a power outage, the backup battery will provide power for about 3 months, allowing quick access to the safe.
Smart Sense™ Keypad: The numeric keypad responds quickly for rapid access and has a built-in proximity sensor that lights up when your hand brushes against the safe. The master code can be 4-8 digits in length.
Biometric Scanner: The 360° High-Resolution Biometric Scanner stores up to 80 unique prints, while Essential Mode supports up to 20 fingerprints. You can add multiple users, enable or disable individual access on the fly, and even transfer programmed fingerprints to other safes.
Key: Two keys are provided for manual access to the safe.
ViSN (Vaultek Intelligent Safe Network): Guided programming, manage safe settings, and receive live alerts from anywhere around the world with ViSN.

Compact Spacious Footprint: The RS500i overall size accommodates up to 6 rifles plus an assortment
of pistols and magazines. A range of modular accessories is available to customize your interior, or choose the RS500i accessory pack to deck out your safe’s interior.
Customizable Modular Interior: The modular interior features pegboards pre-installed inside the door and in the back of the safe. Accessories are designed with a magnetic snap system, allowing you to quickly and securely place accessories exactly where you want them for a customizable setup.

Security Sleep Mode: Activates when six (6) consecutive incorrect keypad entries are entered or six (6) incorrect fingerprint scans are made. The safe will not accept any entries for four minutes. If any additional attempts are made, the alarm will beep. The security sleep mode can be cleared upon unlocking the safe by any authorized access method, including the backup keys.
Two Modes (Essential and ViSN Mode): Essential Mode has settings that are accessible using the keypad hotkeys only. In ViSN Mode, these same settings are accessible using the Vaultek ViSN smartphone app.
