  • Step 1: Initiate Emergency Response In the event of suspecting an electric vehicle fire, promptly dial 9-1-1 for emergency assistance.
  • Step 2: Proper Placement of Fire Cloak USA EV Fire Blanket Position the Fire Cloak USA EV fire blanket centrally in front of the vehicle for effective coverage.
  • Step 3: Unfold and Center the Fire Cloak Ensure that the Fire Cloak USA blanket is fully unfolded and centered in front of the electric vehicle.
  • Step 4: Employ Red Straps to Cover the Vehicle Grasp the red straps and pull the Fire Cloak USA blanket over the vehicle, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Step 5: Secure Sides and Ensure Full Coverage After completely covering the electric vehicle, use your feet to press down on the sides of the blanket, securing it in place.
  • Step 6: Retreat to a Safe Distance Immediately move to a safe distance of at least 30 feet and leave the blanket in position until the arrival of the fire service.

NOTE: Whilst EV fires can reach core temperatures exceeding 1,300°C, the surface temperature of the vehicle body will be much lower than this.
