Amerex 5lb ABC Fire Extinguisher - Model B424 | AME-15267

This heavy-duty Amerex ABC Dry Chemical fire extinguisher has a 5-pound capacity and uses a specialized and fluidized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical to chemically insulate Class A fires. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and won't conduct electricity back to the operator. The chrome-plated brass valve and stainless-steel handle and lever make this extinguisher last even in the harshest environments. The extinguisher has a UL rating of 2A:10B:C and a six-year manufacturer's warranty.

ABC or Multi-Purpose extinguishers utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
