Amerex 5lb ABC Fire Extinguisher - Model B402 | AME-15280

This durable Amerex ABC dry-chemical fire extinguisher boasts a UL rating of 3A:40B:C and is certified for use on both Class A fires (wood, paper, fabrics and many plastics) and Class B fires (gasoline, oils, paints, tar). The high-quality, all-metal construction ensures longevity, and the extinguisher comes with a 6-year warranty. Also approved for Marine use and includes a durable wall bracket.

ABC or Multi-Purpose extinguishers utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
