Amerex 10lb ABC Fire Extinguisher - Model B441 | AME-14966

Built to last, this Amerex portable stored-pressure dry-chemical fire extinguisher features a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate for use on Class A fires (wood, paper, fabrics and many plastics) and Class B fires (gasoline, oils, paints, tar). The rugged drawn-steel cylinder and all-metal valve make this fire extinguisher easy and economical to maintain and service. This extinguisher is UL Rated 1A:10B:C with a 2.5-lb. capacity and an included vehicle bracket.

ABC or Multi-Purpose extinguishers utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
