The Privacy lock function features a latch bolt that is operated by the knob or lever from either side. The outside knob or lever can be locked by a push-button or other internal locking mechanism and can be unlocked from the outside using an emergency release, by operating the inside knob or lever, or simply by closing the door—ensuring both privacy and safety in areas such as restrooms or private spaces.
