BlackVue

BlackVue sets industry standards in the car dash cam arena. Established in 2007, it has elevated dash camera technology by providing ground-breaking complete HD 1-channel and 2-channel cameras. Furthermore, it has enabled customers worldwide to maximize usability through connectivity to smartphone devices using the BlackVue Cloud service or Wi-Fi. 

BlackVue Cloud provides instant playback access, video file sharing, remote live view, location tracking, emergency alarms, and footage backup.

While most customers may associate dashcams with personal or commercial use, in 2016, BlackVue launched BlackVue Fleet SDK, which permitted freight service providers or businesses with large fleets to integrate their dashcams into their cloud-based solutions.

BlackVue added fleet tracking to provide companies with extended cloud functionality and volume pricing as well as full HD recording and superior low-light sensitivity. 

Later, 4K and 5 GHz Wi-Fi/HEVC compression was introduced, allowing them to become the only dual-channel 4K Cloud-based dash cam. Its API system allowed businesses to integrate cloud features into their business software. 

A few years later, it introduced seamless pairing, 3CH lineups, and hotspot functionality. It enhanced video quality on its 4K and X Plus Full HD products. A live event upload with parking mode and seamless pairing was included, allowing for more intuitive interactions, and a mobile hotspot turning a cloud-based BlackVue dashcam into a mobile router. 

Recently, BlackVue bundled its product with a SIM card on select models for the North American market for easier connectivity upon installation. Globally, it launched its Driver Monitoring System, which warns employers and managers of any risky behavior like distracted driving or drowsiness.
